Meet Your Physical Therapist
Carolyn Harper, PT, DPT, OMT graduated from Boston University’s accelerated six-year Doctor of Physical Therapy program in 2015. She continued on to complete a two-year manual therapy program at the Institute of Manual Therapy in 2018 that has enhanced her practice with Kaltenborn techniques from Norway. To add to her bodywork toolbox, she is also certified in dry needling and Level I of Stecco Fascial Manipulation.
With a focus on manual therapy, Carolyn provides care with kindness and compassion while ensuring that each patient achieves their goals. She enjoys treating a wide variety of orthopedic injuries but has an extra passion for those who dance and run.
Growing up as a ballerina who later thrived in contemporary and modern dance style in college, Carolyn enjoys working with dancers of any style and ability. From performing on stage to lighting up the living room, Carolyn understands the importance of returning dancers to a life of pain-free movement.
As a runner who has competed in races from 5K to 100 miles, Carolyn has developed a passion for treating runners and endurance athletes of all distances and potentials. With her own personal familiarity with injuries and recovery, Carolyn is in tune with the athlete’s perspective and recognizes the joy in running without limits.
When not running or dancing, Carolyn can be found lounging on her patio with a good book and some quality beer or planning her next weekend get-away.
