Strengthening
Strengthening, or making your muscles and other tissues stronger and more resilient, is actually an important part of mobility. Often, our tight muscles that respond well to hands-on techniques will also remain pliable if they get stronger.
Stretching
Stretching of your muscles and joints can play an important role in obtaining and maintaining flexibility. At Mobility Physical Therapy, you can learn stretches that can be performed at home to achieve your mobility goals.
Re-training
Neuromuscular re-training is teaching your muscles how and when to activate while performing every day movements or exercising. This key component of physical therapy is helpful in reducing injury reoccurrence.
